Responsible for supporting procurement and inventory management for National and Regional multi-unit convenience store customers. Partner with Procurement and Customer Sales teams to deliver on goals established by leadership to meet customer and company key company performance objectives.

What you'll do as a Customer Experience Procurement Analyst:

  • Ensure pricing accuracy for Customer programs
  • Maintain strong communication with suppliers, brokers, Customer Category teams, McLane Sales/Merchandising, customer service, accounting, and divisional operations supporting Customer locations.
  • Analyze sales and purchasing trends with Customer Category teams to plan and execute seasonal strategies.
  • Review daily DSII (Days Sales in Inventory), Inventory levels and Service Level reports to ensure compliance with contractually agreed to Category Fill Rate performance.
  • Monitor past-due and unconfirmed purchase orders and work with Buyers and Divisions to schedule inbounds.
  • Review warehouse receiving and inventory adjustments.
  • Purchase in alignment with McLane policies and best practices to meet department and company objectives.
  • Support purchasing functions, online distributions, overstock resolution, Outdated inventory loss, weekly filter trips, TIPS/Deal End reviews, SKU management, and deal/cost change approvals.
  • Assist with invoice discrepancies and seasonal planning as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Customer Experience Procurement Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of related business experience preferred.
  • Experience in purchasing or inventory management; supervisory and distributor/wholesale experience is beneficial preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; sales experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, time management, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Exhibit a collaborative, positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
