The Vice President, Critical Infrastructure - Data Centers is a senior leadership role focused on driving business development, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships related to mission-critical infrastructure and building solutions. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and commercial strategy, leading efforts to originate, develop, and close opportunities across data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and resiliency solutions.

The VP will work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to position the organization as a trusted advisor in critical infrastructure, supporting both new market expansion and growth within existing accounts.
You will be reporting directly to Andrew Chang, COO, Buildings & Technology.



Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth:

    Lead business development strategy for critical infrastructure services across data center markets
  • Identify, originate, and close new revenue opportunities with hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and public sector clients
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities aligned with company growth targets
  • Develop account strategies and expand relationships within key clients
  • Client Engagement & Solutions Leadership:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on data center infrastructure strategy, including power, cooling, and high-density environments
  • Translate technical capabilities into compelling, client-focused solutions and value propositions
  • Lead or support pursuit strategies, proposals, and presentations for large, complex engagements
  • Collaborate with technical teams to shape solutions that meet client needs and differentiate in the market

Market Strategy & Positioning:

  • Analyze market trends (AI/HPC, energy constraints, sustainability, edge deployments) to inform growth strategy
  • Define go-to-market strategies for critical infrastructure offerings
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements
  • Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
  • Build strategic partnerships with technology providers, OEMs, developers, and operators
  • Identify and develop alliance opportunities that enhance service offerings and market reach

Internal Collaboration:

  • Partner with operations, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction
  • Provide feedback from the market to inform service development and innovation
  • Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and deal structuring

Leadership:

  • Mentor and guide business development and account management teams
  • Foster a high-performance, client-focused culture


Qualifications

  • 15+ Years of Experience within the Data Center Industry

The pay range for this California position is $200,000- $250,000 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per California Senate Bill 1162.
