Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a 12+ month contract position located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including oversight to quarterly planning, Sprint Planning, & Backlog Refinement
  • Provide visibility into the Agile team's delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders
  • Manage risk including dependency management, impediment removal and compliance with Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements
  • Apply metrics to assess team delivery, maturity, and performance and identify and share improvement opportunities with the team
  • Partner with product stakeholders to ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the team for them to become high performing by collaborating, focusing on continuous improvement including cross-training, and sharing knowledge on scrum practices and Agile principles
  • Lead scaled planning for the team including Pre Planning/Preparation and Program Increment Planning Events and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/Agile Release Train Syncs
  • Provide governance and oversight of end-to-end change and support compliance with country and industry-specific laws, rules and regulations (LRRs) and the company's Risk Framework by establishing core requirements to manage change
  • Plan, organize, monitor and control projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion
  • Ensure that all applicable Enterprise Change Standard, Enterprise Procedures and any functional procedures are followed for the project and that evidence meets Enterprise and line of business requirements
  • Support adherence to Enterprise Change Standards, including artifacts, tollgates, and coordinating permits and deployments with application teams

Requirements:

  • Strong data analysis and excel skills
  • Professional experience in a large / highly matrixed environment
  • Strong communicator (verbal and written) and is comfortable escalating issues to management
  • A natural desire to understand intricate processes while seeing the big picture
  • Experience owning a product backlog (intake & prioritization) managing JIRA deliverables
  • Experience with quarterly program incremental planning (PI Planning)

Desired skills:

  • 10 - 15 years of experience
  • Knowledge of financial services including current regulatory environment and experience in Global Markets, Global Banking or Treasury organization - product knowledge of banking and capital markets products (loans, deposits, securities, derivatives, etc)
  • Understands Scrum at a basic/fundamental level
  • Prior experience with Agile delivery and enterprise change policy within a global financial institution
  • Experience establishing new processes across complex organizations

Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour
