Position Summary

The Psychology Department at the University of Southern Indiana, a public university in Evansville, Indiana, seeks applications for a 10-month clinical track position at the Associate Professor level in Psychology with specialty in counseling or clinical practice. The appointment will begin in August 2025.

Duties/Responsibilities

Responsibilities include teaching 12 credit hours per semester (2-3 course preparations), advising psychology majors, involvement in clinical or counseling practice or activities, and engaging in service activities and, in concert with the chair and the dean and at the pleasure of the provost, exploring and developing new programmatic and curricular opportunities. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate course offerings in clinical or counseling psychology, psychopathology, and special topic classes in applicants' area of expertise.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and the requisite licensure for clinical practice.
