We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Producer Intern to join our content team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience working alongside Executive Producers and Senior Producers on daily network programming, while also contributing to digital content initiatives. Responsibilities: * Assist Executive and Senior Producers with the development and execution of daily network shows * Support show production, including research, scripting, and segment development * Respond quickly to breaking news and weather situations, contributing to the news team's coverage. * Help identify and source compelling video content for broadcast and digital platforms * Write and edit scripts for television and digital use * Participate in control room operations and gain exposure to live production workflows * Collaborate with team members to support content across multiple platforms Qualifications: * Strong interest in broadcast production, journalism, or digital media * Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn * Familiarity with current events and storytelling for TV and digital platforms is a plus What You'll Gain: * Hands-on experience in a professional broadcast environment * Exposure to live control room operations and production workflows * Opportunity to contribute to both network and digital content * Mentorship from experienced producers and media professionals About AccuWeather AccuWeather, recognized and documented as the most accurate and most used source of weather forecasts and warnings in the world, has saved over 12,000 lives, prevented injury to over 100,000 people, and saved companies tens of billions of dollars through better planning and decision-making.
