All about the role:

The Reverse Logistics Field Specialist serves as the subject matter expert for product handling and reverse processes, leveraging data, operational experience, and deep functional knowledge to deliver impactful training and guidance to both internal teams and external partners. This role is responsible for leading the returns program and driving measurable performance improvements across key Reverse Logistics KPIs within our regional distribution center network. This role applies a strong combination of data analysis, process discipline, and creative problem solving to drive standardization, continuous improvement, damage and scrap reduction, and improved recovery rate outcomes.

Where you'll be:

This position will be based in the RDC, Aberdeen Maryland.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain safe work and travel practices at all times.

  • Own and analyze Reverse Logistics KPIs, identify trends, quantify impact, and drive corrective actions.

  • Manage travel schedules and conduct regular visits to regional distribution centers (RDCs), customer locations, and other sites for routine audits or follow-up on damage or return issues.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with regional distribution centers and cross-functional business partners.

  • Serve as a escalation point for operational, quality, compliance, customer and system-related issues for the regional distribution centers.

  • Partner with RDCs to develop and execute damage reduction, inventory optimization, and scrap reduction initiatives.

  • Review operational dashboards and audit findings to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.

  • Lead damage reduction efforts through data-driven analysis and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work with Quality teams to evaluate packaging design and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and influence RDC teams to reinforce best practices.

  • Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvement opportunities across Reverse Logistics operations.

  • Review and refine guidelines, processes, and policies to support standardization, efficiency, and simplification.

  • Foster a culture of inclusion, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in a supply chain role or function.

  • Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • EMS Green Gear Certification (or equivalent), preferred.

  • Strong analytical rigor, including advanced root cause analysis, KPI development, dashboard interpretation, and the ability to translate trends into actionable insights.

  • Ability to develop creative, compliant solutions for scratch and dent recovery and deliver measurable cost reduction results.

  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to build alignment across functions and channels with competing priorities.

The anticipated salary range/wage scale for candidates is $ 74,000 to $92,000 per year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors including experience, skills, and education. Full time employees are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, our company's 401k and deferred compensation plan, paid parental leave, 3 weeks of vacation, and 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Electrolux will comply with all state and local laws regarding employment leave benefits.
