Sandblaster Foreman - RSMU Location: Possum Kingdom Lake Vacancy Announcement Nature Of The Work Safety Sensitive Position WC 7520 Brief Description The purpose of this position is to assist with ensuring the safe operation and extended life of Brazos River Authority (BRA) dam flood gates and infrastructure. This is accomplished by supervising, mentoring, and training less experienced personnel; scheduling and prioritizing work, completing work duties and performing construction, repairs, and general maintenance on the Brazos River Authority (BRA) dams. Responsibilities include: performing all duties in a safe, secure, and productive manner; scheduling and prioritizing of work performed; performing blasting and coating projects; performing sandblasting duties; operating the metalizing machine; applying protective coating for gate replacement; and assisting the welders with work duties and arc gouging. Other responsibilities include operating heavy equipment; operating the supply boat; performing scuba work; mowing; weed eating; operating chain saw; operating jackhammer; completing concrete work; assisting the RSMU Maintenance Superintendent as needed; and any other duties as assigned.
