Position Summary
You will lead cross-functional project teams to deliver complex capital projects, typically about $150M. You will work closely with internal partners and external vendors to define project plans, manage risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. We value clear communicators who can manage stakeholders and navigate the complexities of highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT - Provides oversight for portfolios or projects above 150m; ensures alignment with long-term business objectives.
  • SOLID UNDERSTANDING OF KEY PROJECT MANAGEMENT DELIVERY PROCESSES - Ensures all projects and programs within remit align and adhere to GSK's Project Management Framework; ensures alignment with PMI standards for large-scale initiatives.
  • PROGRAM:

    Oversees complex programs/portfolios and ensures best practices for:

    * Strategic program integration.

    * Portfolio governance and compliance.

    * Stakeholder engagement at an executive level.

    * Comprehensive risk management frameworks.

    * Program reporting and performance tracking.

    * Drives adoption and adherence to GSK's Project Management Framework at the portfolio level.

  • BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS - Acts as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and sponsors.

  • STRATEGIC THINKING & DELIVERY - Develops and drives strategies for capital project delivery.

  • Provide strategic oversight for complex capital projects and portfolios above 150m.

  • Ensure alignment of project outcomes with business and organizational strategies.

  • Lead governance, compliance, and risk frameworks across projects.

  • Exemplify and uphold GSK's values and behaviors.

  • Define and manage strategies for high-impact, high-value projects.

  • Influence and align senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Ensure the delivery of fully compliant, validated systems and facilities.

Why You?

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex capital projects in the pharmaceutical, biotech industry, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience with GMP, regulatory requirements, and validation processes.
  • Experience with delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 certification preferred).

Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Experience with clinical development or regulatory programs.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Strong decision-making under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
