Working in an enterprise Hub & Spoke model, AIAI focuses on the company's highestpriority challenges across the energy system, helping leaders improve decisions, performance, and execution while delivering clear benefits for customers, including affordability, reliability, and safety. AIAI brings together data from across the company and applies advanced analytics, generative AI, and agentic AI to turn insight into action. As a center of excellence, the organization supports and connects data science and AI practitioners, sets clear standards, and builds shared tools so AI can be used responsibly and at scale. The team works on complex, highimpact problems where AI drives stepchange improvements for customers and the business-not incremental gains. Position Summary The Senior Director, Artificial Intelligence is accountable for turning AI into measurable, breakthrough outcomes for PG&E and its customers. This role leads a team of data science and AI experts and partners deeply with senior leaders and functional teams across the company to identify, prioritize, and deliver highimpact AI solutions across the energy system. The focus is on closing gaps on the company's most important outcomes, with clear benefits for customers, including affordability, reliability, and safety. This leader sets and delivers PG&E's AI Transformation (AIX) strategy and roadmap, spanning advanced analytics, generative AI, and agentic AI. They are responsible for prioritizing AI use cases, aligning investments to enterprise strategy, and ensuring solutions move from pilots to scaled adoption. The role consolidates AI capabilities while establishing strong risk, governance, and operating standards consistent with PG&E's performance playbook, ensuring AI is used responsibly and delivers sustained, realworld value for customers and the business. This position is hybrid and will need to work in the Oakland General Office(OGO) several times a week and or as business needs require. Reporting This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Chief Data and Analytics Officer and manages a team size of 30 individuals including two Directors Job Responsibilities

Compensation PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. We estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill be placed within the reasonable compensation range of $212,800-$305,900. The decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis. This leadership role is also eligible for an annual Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP) award, as well as the Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) grant. | |
