Position Responsibilities

The Manager, Supply Chain will provide leadership to the Supply Chain team and coordinate activities across other departments. The manager is a key contributor to cross-functional initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Supervise daily operations and assign work tasks
  • Manage team performance, including coaching, mentoring, reviews, and disciplinary actions * Oversee scheduling, attendance, vacation coverage, and workload distribution
  • Lead hiring decisions, including interviews and candidate evaluations
  • Serve as acting supervisor in their absence
  • Training & Compliance
  • Ensure employee training compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety procedures
  • Monitor and maintain training records for audit readiness
  • Wear appropriate PPE and sterile garments as required

Communication & Coordination

  • Facilitate collaboration between planning, warehouse, and operations to ensure business continuity across operational readiness, production throughput, and customer deliverables
  • Includes managing on-site and 3PL storage space efficiently
  • Lead team meetings and inter-departmental discussions
  • Communicate updates on priorities, policies, and strategic goals
  • Deliver presentations to internal stakeholders

Inventory & Materials Management

  • Use SAP to track inventory and manage warehouse transactions
  • Conduct and reconcile physical inventory counts
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies and manage material requirements

Documentation & Quality Compliance

  • Ensure proper documentation in compliance with cGMP and SOP standards
  • Write, review, and revise SOPs, work instructions, and deviation reports
  • Lead deviation investigations, change controls, and CAPA processes
  • Maintain operational records and audit documentation

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality and efficiency
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues
  • Implement process improvements aligned with PMO goals
  • Oversee quality control integration and change control projects

Strategic Planning & KPI Monitoring

  • Develop and track departmental goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Monitor operational targets and team performance
  • Provide volume, capacity, and cost inputs for business planning

Audit & Regulatory Readiness

  • Represent the department during audits and regulatory inspections
  • Coordinate audit responses and maintain readiness tools
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure ongoing compliance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams and committees
  • Coordinate efforts with other departments to meet shared goals
  • Represent the site in corporate meetings and strategic initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prior experience leading others in a regulated or cGMP environment

  • Leadership experience in management or supervisory positions

  • Experience in a warehouse or supply chain

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Considerable experience leading others, project management experience, and supply chain leadership experience

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
