We're seeking a Accounts Payable Clerk in Houston who enjoys tracking payments, logging transactions, and helping the team stay on top of deadlines. Organized? Detail-obsessed? You're exactly who we want.

Requirements for a Great Fit

• 3 years of accounts payable experience
• Accuracy-driven with strong data entry precision
• Proficient in Excel; accounting tools are a bonus
• Able to stay organized and meet deadlines
• Dependable and trustworthy with sensitive information

What You'll Be Handling

• Receiving, reviewing, and entering vendor invoices into the system.
• Verifying amounts, purchase orders, and approvals.
• Preparing and issuing payments to vendors (checks, ACH, or wire transfers).
• Ensuring payments are made accurately and on time.
• Maintaining accurate accounts payable records.
• Reconciling statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Contacting vendors or internal teams about missing invoices, payment issues, or discrepancies.
• Responding to inquiries regarding bills, payments, or account status.
• Using accounting software or ERP systems (like SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or even Excel) to manage AP tasks.
