Job Description (General Summary)
Laitram, LLC is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our team in the Greater New Orleans area. This individual will develop and execute proactive strategies to attract and retain top talent for key positions across the Laitram family of companies. The recruiter will build and maintain a strong bench of qualified candidates to meet both current and future staffing needs. Partnering closely with hiring managers, this role will define recruitment strategies, assess talent needs, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Success in this position will require developing a deep understanding of the functions and markets we recruit for, building strong recruiting networks and relationships, and leveraging innovative sourcing techniques to identify and engage high-caliber candidates.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities *Manage full life cycle of the recruiting process for all open positions including but not limited to the following:
* Support early-talent and intern hiring, including collaboration with local universities and participation in campus events as needed. * Represent Laitram in the community through targeted programs and events that strengthen our employer brand in the communities we serve. * Stay current on recruiting trends and technology, bringing forward ideas and tools that enhance efficiency, candidate quality, and process improvements. Requirements *Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. * Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing (phone/video/onsite), reference checks, and offer support. * Previous experience using databases, applicant tracking systems, and/or social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) for recruiting or sourcing. * Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility with hiring managers and candidates. * Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. * Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Willingness to travel occasionally overnight for recruiting events, training seminars, or conferences. * Working knowledge of creative and innovative sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search, talent mapping, networking strategies).
