75% of Time will be spent in the Field doing site surveys, taking the information to do the CAD Drafting for the other 25% of the time. **MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE with Drafting in the Utilities industry** Description Required to have experience working directly with CAD drafting for of various Utilities related systems. . This individual will be taking existing 2D drawings of spare equipment, and rendering them into 3D models. Using AssetSuite 8, creating make-safe work orders for PECO distribution (4-34kV) to de-energize power for tree and electrical contractors. Performing site walks, taking field notes, identifying pole numbers and locations, disconnects, solids/fuses, transformers, breakdowns, capacitors, reclosers, services Writing and issuing Clearance Requests (CR) for OCC. Writing and issuing Planned Outage Notifications (PON) for outage affected customers. Using AssetSuite 8, creating Material Requests for ordering/installing new blocking components to PECO infrastructure. Interfacing with customers, PECO crew/foremen and contractors (email, telephone, in person). Skills Design, Gis, microstation, Autocad, Arcgis, utiliites Additional Skills & Qualifications Required to have experience preparing engineering drawings at a power facility or comparable facility. Prepares engineering drawings to support conceptual designs developed by engineers. Required to have demonstrated proficiency using CAD software or other design software. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Berwyn, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
