HR Admin Location: Mid City, Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid (4 Days Onsite) Pay: $23-$24/hour Type: Temp-to-Hire Overview: We are partnering with a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles to find a reliable and people-oriented HR Admin to join their team. This role is heavily focused on onboarding and I-9 verification, with additional responsibilities across general HR administration and employee file management. You will also serve as a go-to resource for employees with HR-related questions, making this a great fit for someone who is organized, approachable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. Key Responsibilities Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience Complete and verify I-9 documentation in compliance with federal requirements Maintain and organize employee files with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality Serve as a main point of contact for employee HR-related questions and requests Support light recruiting tasks as needed Assist with general HR administrative duties across the department Ideal Candidate Highly organized with strong attention to detail Personable and approachable, comfortable being a resource for employees at all levels Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities without heavy direction Trustworthy and discreet when handling sensitive employee information Team player who is adaptable and easy to work with Requirements Prior HR admin or HR coordinator experience required I-9 verification experience strongly preferred HRIS experience a plus Experience with Power Bia plus No degree required, relevant experience will be considered Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
