The Nurse Supervisor plays a key leadership role in supporting patients, families, and clinical teams while upholding professional standards of care in alignment with the ANA Code of Ethics. Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, this position is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of clinic and infusion operations, including supervision of staff, coordination of workflows, and delivery of both direct and indirect nursing care. This role maintains a clinical component, actively participating in infusion patient care and supporting non-licensed care areas and associated workflows. This position provides leadership oversight for North County Cancer Services locations, including Encinitas, Vista, and Rancho Bernardo. In collaboration with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams, the Nurse Supervisor ensures appropriate staffing, resource allocation, patient and staff safety, and ongoing regulatory readiness. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical expertise in infusion therapy and care coordination for both oncology and non-oncology patients, along with effective leadership, communication, and team engagement skills. This role partners closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional medical, nursing, and psychosocial care. The Nurse Supervisor also supports operational efficiency across clinical areas and exercises independent judgment in managing daily operations with minimal administrative oversight. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $132,600 - $259,800 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $63.51 - $124.43 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
