This position reports to: Research Team Manager__ In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Research and Development (R&D) employees and support them in achieving the agreed R&D targets. Each day, you will coach and develop the team. You will also showcase your expertise by helping in managing technologies, platforms, and Intellectual Property. The work model for the role is: Onsite; Bloomfield, CT #Li-Onsite You will be mainly accountable for: The R&D Prototype Shop Manager will support the Electrification product lines at our site in Bloomfield, CT as part of the Smart Power R&D Team (ELSP). In this role, you will be managing the Prototype shop team consisting of machinists and tool & die makers. Essential to this role are strong team leadership skills and demonstrable experience in design, quality, safety, compliance, and new product development. Your role and responsibilities:
