POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a Materials Kitting Supervisor who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving accuracy and efficiency in material flow. In this role, you'll oversee the preparation and delivery of material kits that keep our production lines running smoothly. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to meet schedules, minimize delays, and maintain world-class manufacturing standards. WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Lead and supervise a team of 3-8 employees responsible for pulling, staging, and delivering production kits. * Ensure kit accuracy and completeness by verifying against Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production schedules. * Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Material Planning, and Inventory Control to prioritize tasks, resolve shortages, and address discrepancies. * Monitor kitting status in real-time through the ERP system (Syspro) and ensure all system transactions are accurate. * Run daily reports to track performance on kit accuracy, completion times, and on-time delivery. * Own department KPIs including kit accuracy, staging efficiency, and material readiness. * Drive continuous improvement by implementing process enhancements to reduce handling errors and improve workflow. * Coach and develop your team to foster accountability, safety, and engagement. * Support audits and inventory controls including cycle counts and FIFO practices in the kitting area. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: * 3+ years of warehouse or material handling experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role. * Experience working with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production schedules. * Proficiency with ERP systems; Syspro experience preferred. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to interpret part drawings and material specifications (a plus). * Comfortable using data and reports to drive decisions. * Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
