Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to lead developer-facing documentation for on device ML platform and frameworks. In this embedded role, you will take strong ownership of content strategy, information architecture, and content authoring across multiple interconnected components including key APIs, optimization tooling, framework integrations, and developer tooling - with close support from the engineering team. You will work directly alongside engineering teams to rapidly build deep technical context and translate complex ML and AI concepts into clear, accurate, and developer-friendly documentation - including platform overviews, getting started guides, key workflow tutorials, API/SDK references, and troubleshooting content.

The ideal candidate:



  • Experience writing developer documentation for machine learning or AI frameworks and tooling,
  • Hands-on familiarity with concepts such as model conversion and compression, quantization and optimization techniques
  • Python-based ML workflows
  • Hardware-accelerated inference
  • SDK/API documentation for ML platforms (PyTorch, Core ML, ONNX, etc.)


Additional Qualifications



  • Strong skills in information architecture, cross-component narrative cohesion, terminology alignment, and adherence to developer documentation style standards
  • Proactive communicator who is comfortable driving work forward independently, managing competing priorities, and delivering high-quality documentation on tight timelines
  • Experience supporting developer conferences or launch-driven documentation cycles is a strong plus
