Earn: $200,000/year Position Details As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals living with chronic mental illness. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and manage patients' psychiatric needs in a community-based setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to determine medication needs Document patient assessments and interactions in the electronic health record (EHR) Prescribe and manage pharmacologic treatments, including controlled substances Monitor patient progress and adjust medications as necessary Facilitate direct patient admissions to hospitals when appropriate Participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to develop coordinated treatment plans Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, registered nurses, and other care team members Provide community-based services, including traveling to patient locations with team support Benefits Merakey offers generous benefits that promote well-being, financial security, and work-life balance, including: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus access to healthcare advocacy support.
