Job Details

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good- you've come to the right place.

The Trailhead Content Activation & Outcomes team drives the measurable business impact of Trailhead content for Salesforce sellers and customers. This team ensures Trailhead programs translate into adoption, proficiency, and growth by designing scalable frameworks, scorecards, and adoption strategies. They serve as connective tissue across Content, Field Readiness, Customer Success, and Marketing, ensuring Trailhead is the single destination for learning and the trusted path to Salesforce expertise.

We're looking for a sharp, analytically-minded Senior Analyst to own the data strategy, measurement frameworks, and insights behind Trailhead - Salesforce's free online learning platform. Trailhead serves a diverse global audience of Salesforce employees, customers, partners, and the broader Trailblazer community, delivering structured learning journeys, credentials, and skill development at scale. This role is for someone who loves working with complex learning data, building beautiful and functional Tableau dashboards, and translating ecosystem-wide signals into clear, compelling stories that drive portfolio decisions and demonstrate real business impact.

Responsibilities
  • Define measurement frameworks - Build and maintain a documented set of capability, confidence, and portfolio performance metrics with clear signal definitions for internal and public learning audiences
  • Launch and own a content intelligence dashboard - Design, build, and iterate on an MVP dashboard that tracks learning performance, skill progression, and business impact across priority journeys
  • Drive data readiness - Identify and close data gaps for priority capability metrics; publish documented updates that keep stakeholders informed and decisions grounded
  • Connect learning to business outcomes - Develop an enablement impact model linking learning completion to pipeline activity, time to first meaningful deal, and multi-product deal participation
  • Own confidence measurement - Establish statistically valid pre/post confidence baselines for seller learning journeys and track progress toward a 10-20% improvement target
  • Integrate learner feedback into portfolio decisions - Build a repeatable process to capture qualitative and quantitative learner signals and incorporate them into quarterly reviews and content strategy
  • Measure seller impact - Analyze whether structured learning completers generate measurably more pipeline (target: 15%+) than non-completers within 30-60 days
  • Tell the story with data - Translate metrics into clear, concise narratives for senior stakeholders - making insights accessible, relevant, and actionable
  • Run quarterly performance reviews - Lead four documented content performance reviews per year, surfacing actionable insights on completion, validation, confidence trends, and learner feedback
What does the ideal candidate look like?

Required Skills:

  • Is an expert Tableau practitioner - builds, tests, and iterates on dashboards end-to-end, with a strong eye for data integrity, usability, and accuracy.
  • Has direct experience with Trailhead and Salesforce datasets - familiar with Trailhead learning metrics, credential data, and how Salesforce ecosystem data is structured and accessed.
  • Has proven experience in enablement impact analysis - connecting learning completion and skill attainment to business outcomes like pipeline influence, seller confidence, and deal participation.
  • Brings strong measurement and data strategy skills - comfortable defining metrics frameworks, closing data gaps, and running performance reviews that drive decisions.
  • Is a confident data storyteller - translates complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives for senior stakeholders.
