One Nevada Credit Union is looking for a Commercial Credit Analyst I to play a key role in supporting the Commercial Loan Officer and Senior Credit Analyst/Portfolio Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate loan onboarding and servicing, assisting with comprehensive credit analysis, preparing documentation, coordinating loan closings, and upholding critical internal processes. This role is ideal for someone who is detailoriented, analytical, and eager to grow within commercial lending.
Key Responsibilities
Credit & Portfolio Support - 50%
- Assist with loan file maintenance, annual reviews, property inspections, and other portfolio-related tasks.
- Maintain and update loan covenant tracking systems using FICS and Excel tools.
- Communicate with members and third-party partners to obtain, analyze, and archive annual covenant documentation (financial statements, balance sheets, rent rolls, leases, etc.).
- Analyze financial data and prepare customized reports using Buker's CFA or comparable software.
- Support preparation of credit memos, annual reviews, pre-flight presentations, and full credit packages.
- Conduct property inspections, including site visits, photography, and preparation of inspection reports.
- Perform ad hoc data analysis and spreadsheet development.
- Attend training related to real estate, finance, underwriting, tax, legal, and economic topics.
- Assist members and their representatives with loan-related inquiries, delivering exceptional service.
Loan Administration & Servicing - 40%
- Complete loan boarding and servicing functions within FICS.
- Process mortgage statements, payment reports, and servicing documents.
- Maintain property insurance records and follow up with carriers, property managers, and members for required documentation.
- Monitor property tax status via county treasurer websites; follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Organize, maintain, and archive physical and digital loan files to support compliance and audit readiness.
- Assist with loan closings and fundings: ordering title reports, preparing escrow instructions, obtaining wire information, and creating FICS funding sheets.
- Draft and prepare loan documents using LaserPro or similar software.
- Provide general administrative support, including supply management and departmental phone coverage.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to learn personal and corporate tax return analysis.
- Understanding of cash flow analysis and debt service coverage (or ability to learn).
- Proficiency-or ability to develop proficiency-in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and productivity tools.
- Ability to use or learn financial analysis systems such as Buker's Tax Analysis.
- Ability to use or learn loan documentation software such as LaserPro.
- Ability to interpret credit bureau reports.
- Ability to meet underwriting and analysis objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in financial services and/or real estate required.
- Experience with Buker's Tax Analysis, FICS, and/or LaserPro preferred.
