Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Our client, a global financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack .NET Developer with strong experience in C# application development and distributed database systems. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain high-performance applications and services, working across the full stack from rich client interfaces to backend APIs and data layers. This role requires hands on engineering expertise, solid architectural thinking, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications
• Build robust backend services and APIs using .NET Core
• Develop scalable data access layers for distributed database environments (e.g., SQL Server, Cockroach DB, or other distributed systems)
• Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and QA teams to deliver high quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and sprint ceremonies
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across the stack
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands on experience in .NET / C# development
• Primary Skill: .Net Core
• Secondary Skill: Kafka
• Tertiary Skill: Python
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices (preferred)
• Solid understanding of distributed database systems and data consistency concepts
• Expertise with at least one distributed data platform such as Microsoft SQL Server with distributed features, Cockroach DB, or Postgress SQL
• Familiarity with Entity Framework, Dapper, or other ORM technologies
• Good understanding of multithreading, async/await patterns, and application performance best practices
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with enterprise scale architecture and high availability systems
• Understanding of CI/CD tools
• Experience implementing secure coding practices and working in regulated environments

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
