Position Highlights The Lunar & Planetary Laboratory at the University of Arizona has an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate I in the field of planetary geophysics. The successful candidate will conduct independent research related to the early geophysical evolution of the Moon, with a focus on relating lunar evolution and structure to the crystallization of the magma ocean and the early history of impact bombardment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct original research related to the early geophysical
    evolution of the moon.
  • Participate
    in remote and in-person team meetings, presenting results at conferences, and
    preparation of original scientific research manuscripts.
Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD in the field of earth or planetary science
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with geophysical data analysis and modeling
  • Demonstrated expertise in lunar science
