Overview:
This role plays a central role in managing and advancing marketing initiatives by maintaining a 360-degree end-to-end view of incoming requests. This position provides direct, hands-on support to move projects along from kickoff to delivery, engaging with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors throughout the process. This role also contributes to the development of marketing and promotional materials that effectively represent Herzing University's programs and services, while supporting both internal and external communications efforts.
Hours will generally follow a schedule of 8AM-4:30PM or 7:30AM-4PM.

REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing communications, including project management/coordination and copywriting.
  • Experience in higher education, healthcare, or financial services preferred.
  • Proficient skills in the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.


COMPENSATION is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The salary range for this position is $68,190 to $92,256.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Own and lead the end-to-end intake process for marketing requests and projects, including prioritization, scope definition, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making on project feasibility, resourcing, and routing to ensure efficient and strategic execution.
  • Oversee and actively monitor the progress of marketing projects, identify risks, adjust priorities, and make decisions to keep the projects on track.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings with stakeholders concerning all aspects of projects to define scope, expectations, timelines, and approval processes; provide consistent communication and updates throughout the project lifecycle and ensure a successful execution.
  • Provide support on content development and copywriting to ensure alignment with brand standards and university-wide objectives.
  • Assist with managing digital advertising assets, including LED truck campaigns.
  • Serve as a liaison and key advisor between faculty and the Marketing team to support the development and distribution of newsletters.
  • Support the copywriting workflow by reviewing processing, identifying improvements, and providing recommendations to ensure content is delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with brand and marketing objectives.
  • Manage and maintain all Marketing compliance documentation, regularly review compliance updates, copy revisions, and ensure statistical data is current and accurate.
  • Route projects efficiently within the department and/or coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
  • Work closely with Admissions and Marketing leadership to ensure all marketing strategies and messages are aligned and integrated across channels.
  • Maintain and manage marketing content library, web to print resources, online store, print and relationship with print and production vendors.
  • Provide key oversight of maintaining and managing marketing documents, consistently reviewing processes and standards, and provide recommendations to ensure accuracy, compliance and accessibility across the team.
  • Manage the online store and inventory of Herzing merchandise, signage, and other marketing materials.
  • Facilitate internal communication to employees and staff regarding marketing updates, initiatives, and campaigns.

Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position most of the time.
  • Must be able to occasionally move around the work location.
  • Constantly operates office and/or tech equipment which may include computers, copiers, fax machines, audio/visuals.
  • Frequently uses voice and hearing to communicate with students, staff or colleagues face-to-face or over the telephone.
  • Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess.
  • Occasionally move, carry, or lift 10 pounds.
  • Frequently positions self to maintain computer related equipment which may involve bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
