Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a residential community, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete mobile patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time - Day Shift

Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and amenity areas, assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access through visible presence and routine observation.
• Support a professional residential environment by addressing questions, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and other property-related issues that could impact residents and/or operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
