Want to build clean, intuitive user interfaces that directly support mission-critical space operations? NS2 Mission is looking for a UI Developer with strong Vue.js experience to craft modern, responsive applications that deliver both performance and exceptional user experience.

In this role, you'll support the EMMETT program, a next-generation Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Indications and Warning (I&W) system. The platform establishes and maintains a repository of resident space objects (RSOs), identifies objects of interest, and delivers critical data to ground operators.

You'll play a key role in developing user interfaces that make complex space and sensor data accessible and actionable, working alongside a team leveraging programmatic expertise, sensor modeling, and systems engineering to deliver a world-class SDA capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Vue.js
  • Build reusable UI components and maintain consistency across applications
  • Translate wireframes, mockups, and design systems into high-quality code
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to refine user workflows and interactions
  • Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Optimize UI performance and initial load times
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end/UI best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues in production environments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in user interface development
  • Proficiency in Vue.js
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
  • Understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, VA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modern build tools and deployment pipelines
  • Knowledge of UI testing frameworks
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
