Job Description:
As a Cleanroom Operator - Level III Expeditor, duties assigned will include one or more of the following:
- This role will track NY Creates and tenant hot lots in line to ensure material is moving through their intended routes.
- The Cleanroom Operator - Level III Expeditor will partner with NY Creates and applicable tenants and report any hot lot movement delays or impacts in daily scheduled updates.
- This position ensures downstream toolsets monitors are staged and ran prior to hot lot arrival.
- The incumbent runs several tools/ tool clusters of a complex nature.
- The Cleanroom Operator - Level III Expeditor performs some/all of the following activities: inspection, test, diagnoses, repairs and troubleshoots new and previous tool installations (which are very complex in nature), needs no assistance in recognizing and resolving tool problems.
- There is significant time providing technical direction and assistance to management and to other technical personnel and this role may be held accountable for results. The incumbent provides leadership to others and is a key resource inside and outside of the organization.
- The Cleanroom Operator - Level III Expeditor works independently, demonstrates leadership by spending significant time anticipating and providing technical direction, training, and assistance to other Cleanroom Operator - Level III Expeditors.
- The incumbent recognizes errors in a wide variety of own and others' work or defects or inaccuracies, which could lead to scrap, and takes actions to prevent or correct the problem.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a minimum of associate's degree in a relevant technical field from a college or university AND two to five years of equivalent experience; OR equivalent educational and professional experience and training associated in a highly technical/engineering environment.
The determination to the applicability and relevance of the candidate's qualifications resides solely with NY Creates. Candidate must have good mechanical skills, excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft word and Excel, possess good written communication skills, be well organized with attention to detail, have the ability work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment as well as be available for overtime work.
