POSITION SUMMARY The Lawn Care and Grounds Maintenance Worker for Dismas Charities is responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance, cleanliness, and safety of center grounds and facilities. This role focuses on lawn care, seasonal maintenance, waste management, and light facility repairs to ensure properties meet organizational standards and provide a safe, welcoming environment. Shift Summary - Full-Time. 40 hours per week.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those required of an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The role requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling. The employee must be able to work outdoors for extended periods and maintain the physical stamina to operate lawn care equipment, snow removal machinery, and hand tools throughout the workday. ESSENTIAL POSITION This position is considered an "essential position" (as defined by the United States Department of Homeland Security) and is a position that cannot be completed via telecommuting. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee works primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. Work may occasionally be performed indoors when completing light maintenance tasks. The employee may be exposed to noise from equipment, dust, pollen, and other environmental elements. | |
