| Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |
The Center for Excellence in Investment Management (
IMC) at
UNC Kenan-Flagler inspires a passion for investing through real-world experiences, advances research on investment practice and financial markets, and equips students with the knowledge and skills to lead the evolving investment industry. The Center serves as a hub for students, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals, fostering a dynamic community committed to lifelong learning and career development across public and private equity, credit, capital allocation, private wealth management, and quantitative investing. |
| Position Summary |
The Executive Program Manager will support the operations and programming of the Investment Management Center at
UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Working in close coordination with the Executive Director, this role's main focus will be on planning, coordination and execution of center-sponsored events. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, event marketing and execution in coordination with the Executive Director
- Promote educational and career programming for students and alumni
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support industry and student programming
- Support implementation of the strategic plan for the Center
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism in stakeholder communications, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic academic environment. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in the area of assignment, of which at least one is supervisory or in a lead-worker capacity; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
| Management Preferences |
- Experience in career services, educational programming, or higher education
- Prior experience supporting or working within a university-based academic program, center or similar environment
