Position Summary

Produces technically complex processes per the responsibilities below. Exact job tasks may vary by area assigned.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:

This role does not have direct reports.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing process and support for assigned area(s)
    • Safely setup production processes in assigned area.
    • Run production processes meeting safety, quality, delivery, and throughput goals.
    • Help perform required preventative maintenance.
    • Help create and maintain process sheets.
    • Troubleshoot production process either independently or with other team members, leadership, or manufacturing engineering.
    • Complete Day by Hour boards and Team Improvement boards as appropriate.
  • Quality
    • Identify good and bad parts.
    • Perform required rework with support from Technician, leadership, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Process Improvements
    • Implement process improvements.
    • Make any non-safety related process improvements as appropriate.
    • Participant in high performance teams.
  • Other activities or tasks assigned by leadership team appropriate for the assigned area(s).

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years relevant technical experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Can read, write, and speak English enough to perform job responsibilities.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Understand routers, ISO procedures, work instructions, and standard work.
  • Use required measurement devices such as calipers, VMM, or micrometer.
  • Technically support an area.

Typical Mental and Physical Demands:

  • Spend most of the day walking or standing.
  • Both near and far vision to evaluate parts and processes
  • Work with other team members, maintenance, leadership, manufacturing engineering to support the process.
  • Work with or on equipment in the area using any appropriate tools.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $20.75/hr to $31.5/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
