As a Security Guard - Visitor Registration in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will support access control by verifying credentials, managing badges, and guiding visitors and contractors through entry procedures. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document activities using a computer or tablet. Bring strong communication and customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and coordinating entry for deliveries and contractors according to site requirements.
• Monitor and document inbound and outbound vehicle and truck traffic, confirm shipping and receiving information as directed, and help to report irregular activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when needed and completing detailed incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, dock doors, and the exterior perimeter, watching for hazards, unsecured access points, and other conditions that may require reporting and/or corrective action.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
