Event Specialist

This position plays an important role in helping the day-to-day warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. The person in this position will be primarily responsible for performing daily warehouse tasks, fulfilling rental orders and making deliveries / picking up rental items with assistance from other team members. The person in this position will be expected to help sustain a clean, safe and healthy work environment. This team member may deal directly with customers and is expected to be friendly, helpful, and respectful in all communications.

Essential Functions

The person in this position will be expected to perform these functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Pull and transport rental orders using equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, dollies or other mechanical warehouse equipment

Help inspect and release equipment for rental

Help maintain the warehouse

Load trucks and deliver rental items / pick up rental items

Clean and maintain rental items

Assist with setups and teardowns as needed

Assist with building props as needed

Other tasks as needed and required

Driving Requirements

Driving a truck and van will be an important, and required, part of this position. Driver will need to be cleared by insurance company in order to drive. A valid driver's license is required (CDL not required).

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment
This job operates primarily in a non-temperature controlled warehouse environment where various types of equipment and machinery will be present and in use. The person in the position will also work on event locations, which will include both indoor and outdoor venues.

Physical Demands
This is a physically demanding position. This position must be able to safely perform the following tasks:

Routinely lift and carry up to 80 lbs.

Load and unload items using dollies, pallet jacks, and other equipment

Use shop tools, including drills and saws is required.

Stand for long periods of time.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work will be required as rentals and events necessitate. Overtime hours may be available.

Travel

Local and occasional regional travel will be required in this position. A valid driver license is required. Must be comfortable driving large vehicles.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous industry experience preferred.
