Description

As Associate Brand Manager, you'll help shape how homeowners, builders, and contractors experience the #1 brand in composite decking. This role is for a marketer who thinks like an owner, moves fast, and knows how to turn insight into impact.

You'll support the strategy and execution behind a portfolio of Trex products, partnering closely with teams across the business to drive growth, strengthen brand leadership, and deliver meaningful consumer experiences. From innovation to in-market execution, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing products and stories to life that set the standard for performance, design, and sustainability.

  • Brand & Business Leadership

    • Support the execution of brand strategies that drive growth, margin, and brand equity on both the US and international businesses
    • Lead projects from idea to execution- keeping teams aligned on timelines, deliverables, and outcomes
    • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product, Digital, Retail, Media, and Creative teams, as well as agency partner
    • Ensure consistent, high-quality brand execution across channels and touchpoints


  • Consumer & Market Insights

    • Champion the voice of the consumer, ensuring insights shape product decisions, marketing priorities, and brand strateg
    • Track category trends, competitive activity, and promotions to inform recommendations and planning


  • Brand Management Acumen

    • Understanding of modern brand building in a performance-driven, product-led business
    • Working knowledge of P&L fundamentals and how marketing decisions impact financial outcomes
    • Strong understanding of media strategy, creative development, and campaign execution


  • Collaboration & Influence

    • Ability to tell a compelling story about the consumer, the marketplace, and the business to leadership
    • Ensure partners deliver high-quality, on-brand work aligned with timelines and business goals
    • Serve as the subject-matter expert and primary point of contact for brand tactics across retail, creative, product, digital, channel, media, PR, sales, and international teams

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Related Field and 3-5 years of experience in brand management.



  • Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proven ability to clearly communicate and influence across functions
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
    • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
    • A strong owner's mindset with a bias for action - you're comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done and balancing competing priorities
    • Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly, and make progress in a fast-moving environment
    • Ability to write structured briefs for agencies, providing clear direction on objectives, target audiences, messaging, deliverables, and success metrics

SALARY

Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000 annualy.

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.

At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
