Through innovative programs, compassionate care, and strong community partnerships, we provide services that enhance quality of life for older adults and their families. Volunteers are an essential part of this mission. Their time, compassion, and talents bring companionship, engagement, and joy to the older adults we serve every day. About the Role The Volunteer Services Coordinator helps ensure a meaningful and well-organized volunteer experience across the organization. This role supports the Volunteer Services department by coordinating volunteer onboarding, maintaining volunteer scheduling systems, managing records, and providing responsive support to volunteers and staff. By ensuring volunteers feel welcomed, supported, and valued, the Volunteer Services Coordinator plays an important role in strengthening programs that improve the lives of older adults in our community. Schedule: Part-time. Compensation: Part-time, $25.00 per hour. Union Status: This position is part of the BU Professional Optional bargaining unit and has the option of becoming a dues-paying member of Service Employees International Union Local 73.
