Low Voltage Cable Technician (1-3 Years Experience) Location: Nashville, TN Duration: Long-term contract Work Environment: New construction Job Description TEKsystems is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician with 1-3 years of experience to support structured cabling projects throughout the Nashville area. This role will primarily work on new construction sites and may work independently or alongside a small team. Technicians will install, pull, and terminate low voltage cabling while following construction and safety standards. Daily direction will be provided by onsite leadership, with opportunities to continue developing skills in the low voltage industry. Responsibilities * Install cable pathways including J-hooks and cable tray * Pull and route Cat6 and higher copper cable, as well as fiber * Terminate faceplates, jacks, and patch panels * Use hand and power tools to complete installations * Work independently or assist lead technicians as needed Required Skills * Low voltage cabling * Cat6 cable installation * Structured cabling * Cable pulling and termination * Construction site experience Top Skills * Cable * Cat6 * Structured Cabling * Low Voltage Additional Qualifications * 1-3 years of low voltage or related electrical experience * Ability to use hand and power tools * Reliable transportation * Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Experience Level * Intermediate (1-3 years) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.
