| Summary |
Project Access is a college preparatory program located at
HCC. We strive to support high school students with disabilities, who will be receiving a high school diploma, make a successful transition to college during a 4 week summer program.

| Essential Role Responsibilities |
- Our Teachers provide students with opportunities to engage in academic and nonacademic activities, with a focus on college preparatory skills and strategies. Emphasis on executive functioning skills, advocacy skills, and academic skills. Teachers will develop the specified class by identifying goals/objections, creating supportive lessons and activities, utilizing a web-based management system such as Canvas, and developing individual classroom expectations.
- Teachers will instruct daily classes and participate in weekly college trips.
- Teachers may participate in additional activities to support the summer program throughout the year such as fall and winter parties, Open House events, planning and training events, etc.
