**About the Role:**

As a senior technical leader, you will guide the Advanced Analytics Engineering team, serving as the go-to expert for complex infrastructure challenges and strategic platform evolution. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the robust analytical environment that underpins critical business decisions. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with team leadership, business stakeholder engagement, and strategic technology planning, directly contributing to the organization's technological advancement and resilience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide senior technical leadership and architectural guidance to the Advanced Analytics Engineering team, mentoring members on best practices for server administration, deployment automation, and cross-platform integration.

* Manage, upgrade, and support core enterprise analytical platforms, including Python distributions, statistical computing environments, and statistical programming ecosystems across diverse operating systems and cloud environments.

* Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive server monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and optimal performance of critical analytics workloads.

* Lead disaster recovery coordination for analytical platforms, ensuring business continuity through proactive monitoring, documented recovery procedures, and regular testing.

* Govern production pipeline signoffs, establishing rigorous testing and validation protocols for all deployments, upgrades, and security patches to ensure zero-impact rollouts.

* Advocate for and integrate modern AI tools and methodologies to enhance team workflows and drive innovation within the analytics infrastructure.

* Oversee the management of a broad array of software products and technologies, including analytics platforms, cloud services, authentication & security systems, and internal web applications.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Extensive experience managing, upgrading, and supporting enterprise analytical platforms serving a large user base (500+ users).

* Deep technical expertise in multi-platform analytics infrastructure across Linux, Windows, and cloud environments.

* Proficiency in managing custom Python distributions, including version upgrades, security remediation, virtual environments, and automated package scanning.

* Strong experience overseeing enterprise statistical computing platforms, including major version upgrades, client connectivity, performance troubleshooting, and web service integration.

* Expertise in managing statistical programming ecosystems, including server environments, package compilation, repository management, and integration with version control.

* Hands-on experience with core infrastructure components such as enterprise Linux, cloud compute/storage services, and web servers.

* Solid understanding and experience with authentication protocols, security best practices, and access management in complex IT environments.

* Proven ability to design and implement monitoring, alerting, and operational scripts for server health and performance.

* Experience with development tools, version control systems, and deployment automation for web applications and services.

* Demonstrated leadership in providing technical guidance, architectural decisions, and mentorship to engineering teams.

* Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and drive timely resolution.

* Experience coordinating disaster recovery efforts and ensuring business continuity for critical systems.

* Proven track record in production pipeline governance, including rigorous testing, validation, and communication for critical deployments.

* Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $37 to $41. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
