Sterile Processing Technician—Surgical Services

Summary: The Sterile Processing Technician performs the following tasks: receiving, decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of sterile instruments and supplies used throughout the hospital.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required On-the-job training will be provided Completion of a Central Service Technical Training course within one year of employment preferred Certification as a Central Service Technician preferred Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment Licensed as a Nurse Aide in the State of Nebraska preferred

Schedule: Full-Time; Monday–Friday, 6: 30 a.m.–3: 00 p.m.
