Summary:

The Social Work Team Lead provides clinical and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary social work team within an academic hospital setting. This role supports highquality, patientcentered social work services across the continuum. This leader will serve as a subject matter expert for social workers working within the hospital units and serve as a clinical mentor, operational resource, and liaison among physicians, trainees, nursing, care management, and ancillary departments to optimize patient flow, outcomes, and experience.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Master of Social Work Degree from an accredited school required.
  2. License/Certifications: Licensed by the State of Maine as LMSW or LMSW-CC required.
  3. Experience: Minimum of Five years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
