As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support guests and tenants with courteous customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or local authorities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior common areas, storefront corridors, exterior perimeters, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns for reporting.
• Monitor entrances, loading areas, and other key access points, assisting with access control, crowd flow, and/or closing procedures as assigned.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, potential shoplifting issues, and/or policy violations, coordinating with management and/or law enforcement when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
