As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, support access control, document observations, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or emergency services when required.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor logs, and enforcing location rules in a professional manner.
  • Complete timely security-related reports and documentation including incident reports, patrol activity logs, and shift handoff notes, and communicate relevant observations to supervisors and/or client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
