As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and site rules. You will document observations, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to alarms and service calls with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Carry and maintain issued firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, training standards and Allied Universal post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, operational areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Complete reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
