Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication and customer service. This post requires an armed guard card or license. You will support a caring, people-first culture while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or hazards.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local emergency responders as needed.
  • Control access to designated areas by monitoring entry points, verifying authorization, and documenting visitor and/or vendor activity per site procedures.
  • Carry and maintain issued equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal and/or site policies, including proper firearm handling, reporting, and post orders compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
