What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, post orders, and security-related protocols, and/or supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including production floors, warehouses, offices, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and control entry and exit using approved methods such as verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in logs, and/or directing deliveries to designated locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate notifications to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates during shift briefings and post turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
