Description

About the Role

Meltwater is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead Search Services - the foundational capabilities that power how customers discover, refine, organize, and reuse data across our social and media intelligence platform.

Search sits at the heart of Meltwater's products. The systems you own will enable customers to move seamlessly from exploration to insight, supporting workflows that span saved searches, filtering, enrichment, and downstream analytics and reporting. Your work will directly shape how efficiently users surface trends, monitor narratives, and make data-driven decisions at scale.

This role is ideal for a product leader who enjoys operating at the intersection of platform architecture, user experience, and data-driven insights, and who thrives on solving complex problems with broad organizational impact.
What You'll Own

Core Search & Asset Services

  • Own the strategy and evolution of the services that allow customers to create, manage, organize, and reuse searches and related assets across Meltwater's platform

  • Enable intuitive organization and retrieval experiences that scale from individual users to large enterprise teams

  • Provide reliable, scalable access to search assets and metadata for use across multiple Meltwater applications

Search Filtering & Metadata

  • Lead the development of powerful, usable search filtering capabilities, spanning both user experience and backend services

  • Expand the metadata and dimensions customers can use to refine results while maintaining performance, clarity, and ease of use

  • Define reusable filtering patterns that can be consistently applied across products and surfaces

Cross-Product Workflows

  • Identify opportunities to connect search creation with downstream analysis, reporting, and monitoring workflows

  • Enable natural, efficient transitions between finding data and turning it into insights across the Meltwater ecosystem

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute a clear product vision and roadmap for Search Services in close partnership with Design and Engineering

  • Balance near-term delivery with longer-term platform strategy and scalability

  • Establish and track meaningful product KPIs, using data to inform decisions and continuously improve outcomes

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, UX, Product Marketing, and Customer-facing teams to align solutions with customer needs and business priorities

  • Communicate progress, trade-offs, and direction clearly to stakeholders across the organization

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with ownership of complex product areas involving search, data retrieval, content organization, or platform services

  • Strong technical fluency, with the ability to partner effectively with engineering teams on APIs, services, and data-driven systems

  • Experience designing products that balance flexibility, usability, and performance at scale

  • Proven ability to use product usage data and platform metrics to evaluate success and guide iteration

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams around shared outcomes

  • A strategic mindset paired with a hands-on approach to execution

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required; advanced degree a plus.
