  • Own scope, design, budget, resourcing, risk management, and delivery outcomes across multiple concurrent engagements

  • Proactively identify, manage, and resolve delivery risks and critical issues, escalating when appropriate

  • Drive change management strategies to manage scope and secure incremental funding as programs evolve

Solution & Domain Expertise

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in Point of Sale and store-centric retail solutions

  • Lead functional design, solution architecture, and integration strategies across POS, omnichannel, ERP, and third-party systems

  • Partner with Product Management to provide structured feedback and enhancement recommendations based on real client needs

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the senior delivery lead and primary point of contact for enterprise retail clients

  • Build trusted relationships with client IT, operations, and executive leadership

  • Lead executive governance forums, steering committees, and milestone reviews

Sales & Growth Support

  • Support pre-sales activities including solution positioning, functional design input, and gap analysis

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell additional Manhattan products and services

  • Partner closely with Sales to articulate value and ensure successful transition from sales to delivery

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor and coach consultants and design leads, providing technical guidance and career development support

  • Contribute to delivery best practices, standards, and reusable assets within the POS practice

  • Influence team culture through consultative leadership, accountability, and delivery excellence

What We're Looking For
  • 6+ years of experience in a technical consulting, professional services, or enterprise software delivery role

  • Strong experience delivering POS, retail, or omnichannel commerce solutions

  • Proven success leading large, complex system integration programs ($1M+ services engagements)

  • Client-facing experience working directly with enterprise customers

  • Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, based on project needs

Education
  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
