Azure Data Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Azure Data Engineer for a hybrid position located (3 days onsite) in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves designing and building data solutions for a Major Financial Institution. The ideal candidate will develop data ingestion pipelines for a cybersecurity data lakehouse using Microsoft Azure technologies, including Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks. This position will serve as a technical liaison between data owners, information protection, and security engineering teams, adhering to agile SDLC processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies
• Analyze and develop the ingestion pipeline of required data sources
• Develop data pipelines and implement data lakes
• Ensure data security and compliance
• Function as a technical liaison between Data Owners, Information Protection, and Security Engineering teams
• Adhere to internal IT SDLC agile processes

Requirements:

• Proven experience designing and building data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies
• Experience with Azure Synapse
• Experience with Azure Data Factory
• Experience with Databricks

Desired skills:

• Azure certifications

Pay range: $85.95 - $89.95 per Hour
