Role Overview

Kodak is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Printed Electronics team in Rochester, NY.

This is Software Engineer position in the printed electronics organization. The printed electronics process utilizes production-scale, roll-to-roll equipment in class 1,000 and 10,000 cleanroom environments. The equipment is used for the development and manufacturing of patterned conductive films using two fundamental process blocks: 1) flexographic printing and 2) electroless copper plating. The scope of this position includes development of custom manufacturing software for use across the work-blocks in the manufacturing operations. Developed SW will meet the needs of multiple stakeholders, including Operations and Process Engineering. The right candidate will be able resolve issues with current installed versions in real-time, while driving meaningful improvements across processes.



Responsibilities:
* Maintain and improve existing custom software for image generation and process measurements.
* Design and develop new custom software applications.



Required Skills:
* C++
* Java
* Python
* Linux including building kernel
* Microsoft .net
* Ability to work independently within a combined development and manufacturing operation
* Ability to gather input from users and develop software requirements and then architect and implement this solution

Minimum Experience Level
3 to 6 years



Educational Requirements
Minimum B.S. Degree in a relevant field, including but not limited to, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
