Position Summary
THE ROLE
As a Solution Director in our Solutions Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Firm's strategic positioning at a global level by jointly shaping our portfolio of solutions, contributing to our broarder innovation agenda and ensuring the quality and commercial success of two specific solutions: CEO Acceleration and Succession Planning. You'll report to the Global Leader, Excellence and Innovation.
Combining outcome-orientation and strong collaboration skills, you'll partner closely with Regional Solution Leaders to ensure our practitioners are equipped to promote and deliver these solutions to the highest standards. You'll also orchestrate functional support to ensure a seamless internal experience for client teams and collaborate with other Solutions Hub colleagues to optimise current and future performance across the portfolio. Having experience in or an affinity for leadership advisory work will be key to your success, as will an intellectual curiosity and/or experience in product development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner closely with Regional Solution Leaders to define an annual commercial and excellence plan for individual solutions. Orchestrate activities across the Solutions Hub and the Firm (e.g. marketing, L&D, finance) to ensure the successful delivery of these plans and the optimal use of Firm's resources
- For new solutions, lead the process of defining and codifying the four key elements of a solution: (1) a point of view, (2) a GTM approach, (3) a delivery toolkit, and (4) a community of practitioners, working closely with colleagues across the Firm.
- Remain abreast of market trends competitive conditions, through external research and client team engagement, and ensure that they inform robust continuous improvement activities
- Enable the work of client teams by maintaining user-friendly and current reference documents, encouraging knowledge sharing and acting as a point of reference in the practitioners' community. Identify potential roadblocks and address them pro-actively.
- Collaborate with other Solutions Hub leaders to establish the Hub as a key strategic lever for the Firm, coordinating communication, change management, regular reviews and other support activities across the entire portfolio. Provide active input into our methodologies and innovation work and ensure that our methods/tools are leveraged in individual solutions.
IDEAL CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Collaboration and stakeholder management: ability to engage and lead through influence geographically dispersed stakeholder groups and to build close partnerships with senior practitioners
- Outcome-orientation and prioritisation: self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in managing multiple workstreams, setting clear priorities and ensuring alignment with business outcomes across various groups
- Communication and consensus building: Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex ideas to experienced stakeholders and working with them to shape a way forward
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to analyze complex data to identify opportunities and to develop creative and efficient solutions
- Adaptability in ambiguous environments: Capacity to effectively navigate change and complexity, making informed decisions, even in the absence of complete information or clarity
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years in Leadership Advisory and/or core Product Management in a services industry
- Proficiency in approaches to user research
- Experience and ability to work with geographically dispersed and diverse teams will be a decided plus
- Experience engaging and partnering with very senior executives (C-, SVP, VP)
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
LOCATION
The base compensation range for this position is $185,000-190,000 per year. The actual base compensation offered within this range will be dependent on the individual's skills, experiences, and qualifications. This position will be eligible to participate in our annual discretionary bonus program.
