Revenue Cycle Manager FPO - Revenue Management Full Time 87839BR Job Summary Provides direction, sets priorities, and analyzes workflow for subordinate revenue cycle activities, according to established policies and management guidance. Recommends, develops, and implements new and revised procedures as needed. Under the unit manager, supervises teams of employees responsible for revenue cycle activities related to securitization of authorizations, addressing of retro-authorizations, resolution of RFIs related to authorizations, as well as other Charge Capture responsibilities. Incumbent receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review. The Manager will have primary responsibility to see that authorizations are secured within appropriate deadlines, that work queues are updated to facilitate the smooth throughput of patient authorizations, that retro or team-initiated authorization mistakes are rectified in a timely fashion and address other charge capture activities. Directs subordinates to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies. Works on issues of limited scope. Requires full knowledge of areas of functional responsibility. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. The annual salary range for this position is $101,300-216,700, with a target entry point of $145,679+, depending on experience. The unit will also address other charge capture items, including but not limited to Requests for Information (RFIs), escalations, patient call responses, revising and updating standard work, resolving charge edits, amending registration, and completing insurance updates, etc. Required Qualifications
